We are looking for a sales person to fill a full time position in our showroom situated in Newton, Auckland.
The position involves dealing with a varied customer base. Customers include residential homeowners, office, cafe, club and restaurant operators together with interior designers and architects looking at product specification details and ideas for their clients. You will also be comfortable identifying and contacting prospective customers outside the showroom and identifying sales opportunities, as you will be expected to play an active role in developing our expanding customer base in Auckland.
Sales experience required, preferably with furniture products together with a history of being able to satisfy customer requirements and make the sale.
To be successful you require strong communication skills, show initiative and self-motivation, be computer literate and have a positive can-do attitude. You must be capable of lifting furniture, as you will be responsible for showroom presentation.
Some design flair would be desirable as our customers are looking for help with colour matching and product selection.
Full on the job training will be provided to make you an expert on furniture and associated products. Remuneration based on experience together with buying privileges.
